Elder IT welcomes adults of any age who value patient, plain-language tech assistance, as well as adult children and caregivers seeking trusted care for their loved ones.

I am not a senior, can I still receive tech support?

Section titled “I am not a senior, can I still receive tech support?”

Yes! While our primary specialty is serving seniors aged 50 and older, we warmly welcome adults of all ages who need patient, plain-language tech assistance.

Whether you need help setting up a new device, troubleshooting home Wi-Fi and mesh networks, installing smart home gadgets, organizing digital files, or solving frustrating software issues, you will receive the same attentive, respectful concierge support without any rush or condescending jargon.

Is there a discount if my church has an active subscription?

Section titled “Is there a discount if my church has an active subscription?”

Yes! If your church holds an active Elder IT partnership, you are eligible to receive our discounted senior individual rate ($50/hour for remote support and $70/hour for in-person support), even if you are under the age of 50.

We extend this preferred pricing courtesy to congregation members and families within our partner churches. You can look up your church’s partnership status using the Church Subscription Lookup.

Can I arrange and pay for tech support for a senior?

Section titled “Can I arrange and pay for tech support for a senior?”

Yes, absolutely! This is one of our most requested arrangements by adult children, relatives, and caregivers:

  • You Coordinate the Details: You can schedule the appointment on behalf of an aging parent or loved one and share details about their equipment and frustrations.
  • You Handle the Billing: We can send the invoice directly to you for convenient payment.
  • Participate or Delegate: You are welcome to sit in on the session, join via speakerphone/video, or allow us to work with them one-on-one with calm, respectful guidance.

Can I purchase a recurring gift plan or prepaid block for a senior?

Section titled “Can I purchase a recurring gift plan or prepaid block for a senior?”

At this time, we do not offer prepaid packages or recurring monthly subscriptions for individual retail clients. However, you are always welcome to sponsor and pay individual invoices on behalf of another customer whenever they need help.

Can I reach out on behalf of a parent or family member?

Section titled “Can I reach out on behalf of a parent or family member?”

Yes. Many of our first conversations start with an adult son, daughter, or neighbor.

When you contact us, simply let us know that you are inquiring on behalf of a parent or family member. We will discuss their technical setup, their comfort level with technology, and work out the best, most respectful way to help them together.
